Talvine (meaning Wintertime in Estonian) is a versatile cardigan, perfect for layering in any season. It has a longer length, comfortable positive ease, and a draped neckline that will flatter many different figures. The cardigan is knitted from the top down in one piece; the simple stockinette and garter stitches combine for interesting interplay of textures and help make this a quick and easy project with minimal finishing. Thanks to the top-down construction, the length of the body and the sleeves can be easily customized to just about any length. Talvine is designed to be worn with draped open fronts, but it can be belted or fastened with a pretty shawl pin.
