Tamia-hat is a slouchy hat worked in the round from the brim up. The pattern gives you instructions for normal brim and sewn or no sew version which is joined by knitting folded brim. If you want to adjust the length of the hat, the crown adds about 4 cm/ 1.5 inches to the height.

Body finished circumference 40, 43.25, 47 cm/ 15.75, 17, 18.5 inches.

Yarn

100 g of dk or worsted weight yarn, app. 210 m (230 yds) per 100 g. The sample(size L) was knitted with Nordic Yarn Eco Cashmere, (100% Cashmere, 150 m/ 164 yds per 50 g) in colourway Alta and used 75 g.

Needles & notions

3.5 mm/ US 5 and 4.50 mm/ US 7 (80 cm/ 32 inches or longer for magic loop) circular needle, or set of DPNs or size to obtain gauge
markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
crochet hook, waste yarn and a spare circular needle for provisional CO

Gauge

24 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm/ 4 x 4 inches with larger needles in pattern after blocking.
