Tara is a small, distinctive half pi shawl knitted in fingering weight yarn.
Just big enough to sit elegantly around your neck and the top of your shoulders.

The bands of garter stitch and simple eyelet lace are inspired by an image of a dandelion root (taraxacum) as seen through a microscope.

The ruffled edge is a pretty nod to the flower petals.

This pattern can be knitted in one or more colours and two sizes.

The half pi construction means that the contrast colour band and the border take the same amount of yarn for either size.

The pattern is written to hopefully help people with dyslexia and other types of neurodivergence. For details of my design values and process please visit my website https://knittingwithflora.com/neurodivergence-and-knittin... or my Ravelry designer page.
