Tasha Shawl
Read about my knitting adventures on Substack.
After the whirlwind of the holidays, it’s time for peaceful, calm, meditative, in-the-moment knitting. When I think of intentional crafting, I think of Tasha Tudor, one of the most influential women in my life. She is my inspiration for the Tasha Shawl.
Calming colors, rhythmic slip-stitch sections , restful stockinette, a classic, functional triangular shape, understated warmth…
Here are the basic skills you will need to knit the Tasha Shawl:
long-tail cast on
knit
purl
slip stitch
bind off
M1R and M1L increases
(YO) yarn over
purl through back loop
weave in ends as you go
