Are you in the mood for some geometric knitting? Want to join triangles and squares to create a stunning shawl? Then Tassel Dazzle might be just the thing for you. A modular knit that will keep you motivated throughout the project.

For Tassel Dazzle you will need two contrasting yarns of the same weight and ideally of the same brand. You will need the same amount of both you and can combine all kind of yarns: solids, semi solids, tie dyes, long gradients, short gradients etc. etc.

There are two sizes available: medium and large, so you can use any yarn weith from lace to dk. The yardage will depend on the tightness of your stitching and the size you want to knit. I knitted the Large Version with only two skeins of Wollmeise Pure (574y/550m each) and was able to make three triangles for each half (length: 61.5”/156cm - depth 9.5”/24cm). I knit very thightly. If you prefer your stitching to be a bit looser, you should opt for the Medium Version to make do with one skein of each color. For the other shawl you see on the images I used two cakes of Wollbonbon Merino 4 ply (984y/900m each) I knitted 4 triangles of the Large Version for each half (length: 82”/209cm - depth 10.25”/26cm).

Tassel Dazzle is a fully reversible shawl. It is a modular knit, but there is no seaming involved as you will join all the modules as you go. All instructions are written AND charted, enriched with ample photo tutorials on the techniques of shaping and joining the modules. This makes Tassel Dazzle a doable project for most knitters.
