Inspired by a line in a children’s book where a mother is speaking to her child, this pie crust weave brings to mind memories of fall and holidays spent with family. This squishy pattern feels like a warm hug on a cool, autumn day.

This cowl is knit in the round using a 2x2 ribbing at the top and bottom, and a pie crust weave pattern for the body to give it that delicious squish!

While the pattern is written as One Size Fits All, the width and height can be easily adjusted by simply adding or removing repeats. The finished measurements as written are 7.5” tall and 11.5” wide, after blocking, and uses approximately 65g of fingering or light fingering weight yarn.

This pattern was designed to pair with the Taste of Home Hat, and both can be knit using a 100g skein of main color and a 20g skein of contrast color. Want both patterns? Add both to your cart and you will automatically save 50% off the price of one.
