A little texture and a little lace. With purled texture stitches that undulates above lacy diamonds. All the stitches are basic, making this a good pattern for those with some sock knitting experience wanting to dip their toe (pun intended) into the lace waters, as well as those who’ve already dipped.

Women’s shoe sizing (approximate)
small: shoe size US 6-6.5
medium: shoe size US 7-8
large: shoe size US 8.5-9.5
Sizing is based on foot circumference.
small = 8”
medium = 9”
large = 10”
Negative ease has been accounted for in sizing measurements.

Since this pattern incorporates lace, be sure to gauge swatch. Looser knitters may need to go down a needle size. Use whichever needle size gives you the proper gauge.

This is a very easy lace pattern utilizing basic sts. Patterning for lace is worked every other row and is easy to memorize. These knit up surprisingly fast for lace (probably due to the simplicity) and I’d even recommend this for the sock knitter who’d like to try their hand at lace.
