Technicolor Oreo
Technicolor Oreo is a simple beginner’s cowl perfect for showing off your beautiful yarn! It is written for fingering, sport, dk, or worsted weight yarn. Sections of stockinette with reverse stockinette accordion-fold themselves around your neck for a beautiful, squishy, drapey cowl.
Each color section in this cowl uses about 50 grams or less (half the average skein) so if you buy 3 standard skeins of yarn, you will get two (or more) cowls out of it. Perfect for holiday gifts or stash busting!
We recommend three solids/tonals, or two solids plus a hand-painted/variegated. Wool, wool blends, alpaca, bamboo, silk, or anything with great texture or drape work well for this project.
