This coat is a luxury ”fur” knitted in pure wool and alpaca and feels like a big hug. It has nice details such as a double knitted collar and edgings plus cozy pockets for your hands. The pattern describes where you can change the length.

Length from back neck: Approx. 85 cm (in use 90 cm).
Sleeve length from shoulder: Approx. 35 cm (in use 38 cm).

MATERIALS
Yarn quality:
Teddy Dear (60% merino wool, 40% alpaca superfine, 50 g = 75 m).
Pura Lana (50% wool, 50% alpaca, 50 g = 115 m).
Kid Seta (70% super kid mohair, 30% silk, 25 g = 210 m).

Yardage:
Teddy Dear, balls of 50 g: 18-19 (the yardage is indicative and may vary by +/- 1 ball). You can add length to the coat with + 1 ball per 5 cm.
Pura Lana, balls of 50 g: 1 ball of main color for seaming + 2 balls of contrast color for edges.
Kid Seta, balls of 25 g: 2 balls for inseam pockets (skip if you are not knitting pockets).

Light grey version is shown with Teddy Dear color 502 light grey, Pura Lana color 520 light grey plus Pura Lana color 432 candy for edges and Kid Seta color 408 light grey for inseam pockets.
Dark blue version is shown with Teddy Dear color 780 marine blue, Pura Lana color 780 midnight blue plus Pura Lana color 164 brandy for edges and Kid Seta color 415 navy blue for inseam pockets.

Needles & notions:
5 mm circular needles (60+80 cm), 5 mm short circular needle/double pointed needles for sleeves, 4 mm circular needle for the hem, 4 mm double pointed needles for sleeve and pocket edges in Pura Lana and 3.5 mm double pointed needles for pockets, all from Seeknit and Gepard.
3 mm crochet hook and 4 stitch markers.

Gauge:
13 sts = 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 1 strand of Teddy Dear on 5 mm needles.
18 sts = 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 1 strand of Pura Lana on 5 mm needles.
19-20 sts = 10 cm in stockinette stitch with 2 strands of Kid Seta on 3.5 mm needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary.
