This Teeny Penguin is a quick knitting project to use up odds and ends of yarn. Knit some penguins for little Christmas ornaments, or just for fun!

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, each penguin is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm single pointed knitting needles (US 5).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; a few grammes in each colour.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle, a little toy filling or cotton wool ball to stuff, beads and felt fabric for eyes, and yellow embroidery thread to add the beak.

SIZES
One size only - 4cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
