Basking in the light of the moon, stands the majestic Temple of the Forest, where each and every tree is a sacred sanctuary offering protection and sustenance to wildlife of all kinds.

Materials
• US Size 0 (2mm) set of dpns or circular needles (for Magic Loop method); US size 00 (1.75mm) for ribbing (optional)
• Fingering weight yarn - 231y/50 g (211m/50g). You will need about 287 yards/62 grams: BC – 185 y/40 g, CC – 102 y/22 g

Notes
1. Size: The mittens are 70 stitches in the hand part. With recommended yarn, needles, and gauge the mittens should fit an 8-9” circumference hand. To make larger size mittens use larger needles.
2. Stranded colorwork: Follow the charts from right to left. Make sure to catch longer floats using preferred method.
3. The sample mittens were knit with dark background, but this pattern will also look good with light background color.
