Terra Mittens
These mittens are a quick and enjoyable project, perfect for knitters looking for a satisfying and rewarding creation in no time, perfect for using leftover yarn or making a thoughtful handmade gift.
They feature a textured back-of-hand pattern and a comfortable thumb gusset for a great fit.
The mitts are worked in the round on 3.5 mm (US 4) double-pointed needles and include clear written instructions and a chart.
For this project, I used Aran-weight yarn (8 wpi) and smaller needles (3.5 mm / US 4) to achieve a firm gauge, helping the mittens hold their shape when worn.
Yarn: For the mitts shown in the picture, you will need: 60 g Lang Yarns Yak (70% Merino extra fine (mulesing-free), 30% Yak, 50 g / 120 m).
Needles and Notions
3.5 mm / US 4 double-pointed needles, stitch markers, stitch holder or waste yarn, cable needle.
Gauge: 24 sts x 36 rows
