This shawl pattern combines garter and stockinette, eyelet and ruche stitches, plus a picot edging to create a lovely half-circle shaped shawl.

The pattern is written for one size, but this can easily be adjusted for a size you may prefer. The gauge is 25 sts x 36 rows in stockinette stitch. Gauge is not extremely important in a shawl but a difference will change the size of the finished product and the amount of yarn required.

For my original shawl, knit on a 3.25mm (40 cm) circular needle, I used slightly less than five skeins of Mirasol Yarn Sulka Legato. Your favourite yarn can easily be substituted.
