The subtle texture differences in this scarf lend it an air of simple sophistication that can be accentuated depending on the color choices. The pattern is easy to memorize and it works up quickly. It can also be easily adapted to a single color or multiple colors. Pattern includes instructions for adding optional tassels and a variation to make a cowl instead of a full scarf.

About the e-book: Get cozy with your new favorite wearables today! Collection of 3 digitally downloaded patterns to create your very own hand crocheted scarf, slippers and slouchy hat! Patterns use worsted weight and bulky yarn and a H (5.0 mm) and J (6.0 mm) hooks. Make some for yourself or as a gift! They make excellent birthday or holiday gifts. The scarf pattern also includes a variation to make a cowl.

These patterns were developed to accompany my Crochet Foundations beginning crochet course. Since they were designed with teaching beginners in mind, they use simple stitches and techniques. They are perfect for someone just starting out as well as seasoned crocheters. Techniques required are chaining, single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, decreasing, basic seaming and weaving in ends.

Abbreviations used are listed with each pattern as well as any special stitches or techniques unique to that pattern. All patterns are written using US terms.
