Available in 9 inclusive sizes worn with 0-2” 0-5 cm of positive ease. I originally created a free tutorial for the pullover version of this sweater years ago and have decided to really give this a good clean up and turn the That Basic Raglan into a proper pattern. The original pullover tutorial is still available for free, but if you’re wanting a more in-depth pattern, then please consider purchasing this thoroughly tested and edited design. The sweater samples are made in collaboration with Chelsea Yarns and Ichanchup Fibers, with exclusive kits available come October 2025.

  • Yarn Chelsea Yarns Kit ( fingering weight yarn was held double throughout in sample pictured). Kits include an exclusive skein(s) of a Brushed Cashmere base (50/50 cashmere/merino blend yarn). Thank you to Hisayo from Ichanchup for finding and sharing this base with me.

Cardi Description
That Basic Raglan Cardi is a revamp of a free basic tutorial I published on my old blog a few years back. This is a simple top-down Raglan design, with ¾ or full length sleeves, and 0-2” 0-5 cm of positive ease throughout. Available in 9 adult sizes. A wardrobe staple you’ll want to revisit again and again.
