This is my lace cowl pattern, a wider lace design cowl with a neat I-cord edge, ideal for autumn and perfect for tonal skeins of hand dyed yarn.

This cowl is designed to use those sneaky fingering weight skeins of yarn that seem to fall in our baskets when buying other yarn. It has a fairly short repeat lace pattern making it ideal for a varied yardage project.

I used my own hand dyed yarn which can be found in my etsy store
The base was merino/silk 50/50 and the colour was Ice maiden.

This is quite an easy lace pattern to get you started off in the world of lace if you know how to knit purl yarn over and make a left leaning decrease - you can make this pattern!
