This is a two-skein fingering weight baby blanket. A simple and easy pattern, perfectly suitable for any beginner, but gratifying enough for even a seasoned expert.

I’m quite fond of baby blankets in fingering weight yarn. To me, they work perfectly as a light, breathable and delicate layer, but still warm enough to feel snug. So when a dear friend told me she was expecting her first child, I instantly knew what I would be making, and I’d be using a new favourite stitch pattern to make it.
