The perfect snug sock to keep your toes toasty on long adventures. The rib gusset is designed to give extra grip through the leg and help keep the socks from slipping down as you make your way through untold lands.

These socks are knit toe up with a German short row heel. A 2x2 rib band runs up both sides of the leg before ending in a 1x1 rib cuff.

Components:
Approx 70g fingering weight yarn; Half Baked Hand Dyed Merino Sock Yarn in The Night Of The Hunter (MC) and Dyed by Hand Yarns’ Tough Stocking Mini in Purple Smoke Bush (CC)
2.25mm circular needles using the magic loop method or double pointed needles
Stitch Marker
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends

Sizes:
These socks are made to be snug with 3.5cm(11/2 in) of negative ease in circumference and 1cm (1/2 in) in foot length. Size: Small(Large) To fit foot circumference: 23cm/9 inches (25cm/10 inches) You can also size up or down by increasing or decreasing the size of the needles. I recommend making a swatch in the round of the number of stitches in the pattern and fitting that to the widest part of your foot to test your sizing.
