Inspired by dreamy colors and textures :)

This pattern is a 24-row repeat that mixes two smaller twisted cables with larger twisted cables and with alternating seed stitch for added texture. It is worked flat, then grafted together in pattern, end-to-end to form a invisibly seamed tube, and gathered and cinched at the top in 2 rounds, instead of using short rows. The brim forms from the natural roll of stockinette stitches.

Options for a relaxed fit brim, or a more fitted brim.

Options for a grafted seam or an easy 3 Needle Bind-Off.

Options to knit from the written pattern or from a chart.

This pattern includes a tutorial for my method of grafting. It is written thoroughly with many photos, with the purpose of creating an understanding of how grafting works, rather than using rote memorization of steps. It aims to develop an understanding of the structure of knitting and so may be applied to any pattern that uses end-to-end grafting. It will all finally make sense!! :)

Considerations are also given for a 3 Needle Bind-Off option for (which leaves a visible seam) in case the knitter is not ready to graft.

Happy Knitting!
