The August Crochet Throw is an extremely beginner pattern that uses basic stitches. Don’t let the simplicity fool you into thinking it will be just a “meh” blanket though. The unique combo of these basic stitches creates a lightweight blanket with beautifully subtle and interesting texture and exceptionally lovely drape. It’s perfect for warmer months when there may be times you want to cover up, but a plush blanket is out of the question.

The pattern is for one size only, but I include the stitch multiple so that if you want to adjust for a different size you can do that.

Materials info:
size H (5.0mm) hook and size K (6.5mm) hook
4/medium weight yarn, approximately 2,320yds (2,130m)

Finished blanket measures about 50” x 70” (127cm x 177.8cm).
