The Aurora Shawl
The Aurora Shawl is an intermediate Tunisian Crochet pattern with amazing drape and a mix of lace and solid sections. To learn more about this pattern, check out the blog post here: https://thecraftycrochetier.com/?p=866
There is also a video tutorial you can watch here: https://youtu.be/zaVL5s9C3Ss
I used yarn from Treehouse Knits - check them out here: https://treehouseknits.com/
For this pattern you will need the following:
3 skeins of fingering weight yarn, approximately 1274 yards
6.0 mm (US J/10) Tunisian crochet hook with a minimum 20” cable, or hook to meet gauge
3 stitch markers - denoted as A, B, C
Tapestry needle
Scissors
Blocking supplies
Yarn Notes: For this sample I used Treehouse Knits Paper Flowers in her Spruce Sock Base (437 yd/100g and 10% Nylon, 90% Extra Fine SW Merino).
I recommend using a lightly speckled, lightly variegated, tonal or solid colored yarn for this shawl.
I hope you love this pattern - happy crocheting!
xoxo Serena
