This cozy shawl is the perfect piece to wrap yourself up in on a chilly morning while enjoying a cup of coffee on the back porch, or to keep close by while relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. Its generous size and simple design make it a wonderful everyday accessory and a lovely handmade gift.

Created using only the garter stitch, with a simple yarn over at the end of every row, this pattern is easy to knit and a great choice for the beginner knitter.

Not familiar with yarn overs? No problem! A helpful video is included with the pattern to walk you through the technique.

The shawl is made with acrylic Aran weight yarn (also known as #4 or Medium weight) and US Size 8 circular needles. The circular needles are used only to comfortably hold the stitches, as the shawl is knit flat, not in the round.

ONE SIZE FITS MOST.

Must be familiar with basic knitting stitches and techniques.
