About the pattern:

The Basic Beanie is worked from bottom upwards, in the round. It features a long brim, to be folded once (or even twice!), for some extra coziness and warmth in the colder winter months. The rest of the hat is knit in Stockinette stitch, with some simple decreases towards the top.
This is the ideal project for gift-knitting or for knitting beginners who are making their first attempts at knitting in the round: small, easy and cute!

Yarn:

The yarn I’ve used is Hoooked Woool’e, a very special yarn made entirely from recycled pre-consumer textile waste from the Portuguese fashion industry. It comprises 60% recycled wool and 40% recycled cotton.
You can, of course, use any yarn that suits your preference.

Materials:

2 skeins of Woool’e yarn in color Rose
3,5 mm / US 4 circular knitting needles and a long cable (80 cm) to work comfortably in magic-loop technique
4 mm / US 6 circular knitting needles — or other suitable needle size to obtain gauge or the right texture for you
1 BOR marker
scissors
needle to weave in ends

Gauge:

22 stitches and 24 rows for a tension swatch of 10 x 10 cm, using 4 mm knitting needles, in stockinette stitch worked in the round.
Always adjust the needle size to obtain the right gauge.
