This cowl is crocheted from the bottom up in the round.

The Bernadette Cowl is worked up using only DC.

There are 3 separate sizes: Toddler/ Child- Small, Child-Large/ Adult- Small, and Adult- Large

Regarding the adult sizes: If you like your cowls to be tight around your neck, I suggest making the Adult- Small. If you like a little more room around the neck, I suggest the Adult- Large.

REMEMBER: When you are working up your gauge swatch, it is more important that the width of the swatch meets the correct gauge than the height. You can always add or subtract more rows, but you can’t change the width unless you start over!

If you are in need of a smaller or larger width than what I offer, you can make your own chain using a Multiple of 8 +12.
