Yarn requirements are as follows -

You will need 9 x 175 yards (approx 50g) of fingering weight yarn, in shades that compliment each other to your liking. I used 9 skeins of Koigu KPPPM. These come in 50g (175yards) skeins. Equally, you could use partial skeins that you might already have in your stash.

You will also need a mohair/silk laceweight (or similar) that you will hold double with the fingering weight for the entire project. I used 6 skeins of Rowan Kidsilk Haze, which come in 25g (230yards) skeins.

The yardage required detailed above, is when held together. You will need the same yardage for both yarns.
