The Cabin Sweater
This sweater is knit from the top down with raglan shaping worked in twisted stitches for a clean, textured look. The body is mostly stockinette, making it a relaxing knit with just enough detail to keep things fun. The bottom of the sleeves feature a bobble-like lace section for a bit of variety without being too complicated. The pattern includes simple construction, minimal finishing, and a comfortable, everyday fit—great for knitters who want a satisfying project with a few fun twists. It’s knit top down, making it easy to try on as you go.
There’s also an optional lace/bobble detail on the bottom of the sweater to match the sleeves, if you’d like.

Yarn: you will need approx 5 (5) (6) (6) (6) (7) skeins of Knit Picks ‘Whoopsland’ 180 yards in color Beaver Heather. Feel free to substitute the recommended yarn for any other heavy worsted – bulky weight yarn. You’ll need approx 760 (840) (960) (1000) (1080) (1100) yards for your sweater. (Note: yardage is just an estimate. Please keep that in mind when knitting your sweater)
Needles: I used size US 8 circular knitting needles to get gauge. I also used the Magic Loop Method to work the sleeves, but you can do whatever works for you.
Gauge: 15 sts and 21 rounds over 4 inches knit in stockinette stitch in the round.
