A bog-standard mesh-stitch shopping bag. Foldable, rollable, squishable with good expansion. Ideal for gradients, a single colour or as a stash buster. I used just on 100g of Camilla Cotton Fine but if you want to enlarge the bag or make wider handles, best grab another ball or even use an 8ply cotton instead.

This bag is approx 35cm wide by 35cm deep relaxed but can easily be adjusted by adding on (or leaving off) a pattern repeat or two. The handle can also be lengthened with the addition of extra chain.

The rim and handles are reinforced by the use of a smaller hook.

There is also the option of adding a tab so the checkout person (or you if you do self-checkouts) can hang the bag for filling.
