Great oversized lace cardigan that looks like a cape or shawl, but fits like a cardigan. Instantly dresses up a simple tank or tee when thrown over a casual outfit. Works as a great beach coverup as well.

Laid flat after blocking, the garment measures 56”(142cm) across at its widest points. The cardigan drapes about 36”(91.5cm) in the back and about 30”(76cm) in the front. The batwing cape-like sleeves measure about 29”(74cm) from neckline to wrist.

The garment is “one-size-fits-most” and is designed to be oversized and hang loosely like a shawl or cape. The sleeves are batwing and are generously sized to drape and swing. The garment is likely best fit for medium or larger frames. If you are particularly petite or would like a slightly smaller, tighter cardigan, please consider using a 3.5mm crochet hook and/or leave out the last round of the motif pattern. Simply adjust the final joining round to reflect the new, smaller motifs.
