The Chelwood Shawl
This is a triangular shawl knit in sport weight yarn.
It combines garter stitch stripes with a diamond lace pattern edged on one side with little tassels to make a lovely shawl that can be worn at any time of the year.
the second images show it made up in a cotton/linen mix yarn, ideal for a summer shawl.
the construction is worked by starting at the bottom corner and increasing at the end of the row while decreasing at the beginning of the row, creating a biased fabric.
The gauge is given for the shawl knit using A Yarn Story - Opus yarn.
If you make it using other yarns the size will alter.
