This is a beginner knitting pattern for knitters who would like to experiment with colour transitions. This Dragonfruit Beanie is worked in the round from the brim to the crown. A pom pom is optional to top off the fruit hat. In order to knit up a beanie that resembles a dragonfruit, it is recommended that a reddish colour yarn be used for the brim, white or off-white yarn for the base and black yarn for the “seeds”.

This pattern has written instructions on how to knit a beanie for the following sizes: 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, toddler, child, and adult.
