“The Drift Vest” - Crochet for Men is a warm and airy garment that’s both breathable and
warm using a milk cotton blend with a slightly snug feel to it. It’s made for the classic,
clean, minimalistic, neutral-toned personality that wants to stand out, but in a soft yet
handsome way. This vest is in a drapy, shoulder drop form, best presented in neutral
tones: white & black, tans, browns, creams, greys, etc., giving it an earthy vibe
that’s fresh and organized.

Pattern Status
This is a newly released crochet pattern. While it has not yet undergone formal third-party testing, it has been carefully reviewed by the designer for clarity and accuracy.

Men’s Medium (M). Fits a chest circumference of approximately 38-40 inches (96-102
cm).

o Materials
 Yarn: Approx. 1035 yards (946 meters) of 5-stranded Milk Cotton (9-9.5 50g skeins) or any DK/light
worsted yarn that meets gauge.
 Crochet Hooks:
o 3.5mm (for all ribbing)
o 4.5mm (for the main body and seaming)
 Other Tools: Yarn Needle, Scissors, Stitch Markers, Measuring tape (perhaps a
notebook or journal to track your progress).
o Gauge
14 HDC sts x 11 rows = 4x4 inches (10x10 cm) with a 4.5mm hook.
