Crochet beanies are one of my absolute favorite parts about the autumn season.

They are also one of my current favorite things to make and sell. They are fast, fun, and there is always a market for them as long as cold weather exists.

I created the Eira Beanie out of complete boredom and ended up falling in love with it. I can’t stop making them in all the yarns I can find!

A bit about this pattern: the softer the yarn, the slouchier the hat. Some acrylic yarns tend to be very stiff, and while they are beautiful and colorful, they don’t necessarily make a good hat. The best yarn that I’ve found for this particular pattern (so far) is Hobby Lobby’s I Love This Yarn. It’s soft and warm and just perfect, and not terribly expensive!

I hope you enjoy this free pattern below! Please feel free to leave any comments or concerns you have. If you want a printable, large print version of this pattern and would like to support my work, please consider buying from my Ravelry. The PDF version is more detailed, and I would greatly appreciate the help for my work!
