This top-down triangular shawl starts with the total amount of stitches at cast-on, then decreases on both sides every row. The result gives you a wide wingspan with a shorter depth. It’s perfect for practical wearing, like a scarf under your coat or draped over your shoulders on cold days.

Yarn:
611.5 yds/560 m, 9.9 oz/280.5 g of worsted weight yarn.

Suggested Yarn:
Lettlopi- 100% wool, 109 yds/100 m, 1.75 oz/50 g. You will need 6 balls. Colorway pictured is 1701.

Gauge (after blocking):
14 sts and 28 rows in 4”/10 cm in garter stitch after blocking.

Suggested Needles:
US size 10 (6.0 mm), 40”(101.5 cm) circular needle. Crochet hook size for making tassels should be around a J-10.

Difficulty Level:
Suitable for adventurous beginner knitters proficient at the following skills: knit, purl, k2tog, and knitting simple cables.
