The Friendly Mae Doll is about 9 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide (not including the arms and hair.) Mae works up fairly quickly so she is a great last minute gift or item for craft fairs. For Mae, I recommend using size 4 worsted weight yarn in whatever color you prefer. This particular one used Red Heart Super Saver in Aran. I also recommend I Love this Yarn in Ivory and Stylecraft Special Chunky in Cream. The hair is Lion Brands Silky Twist in Java for the brunnette and Lion Brand Homespun in Cream for the blonde. Similar yarns should work. The dress is Red Heart’s with Love. The beauty of the doll is that you are able to customize her in any way you would like! Enjoy making her!
