Hey YOU! Are you interested in creating your own plushie of a beloved copyrighted character??? Well, look no further! Using weight 6 yarn and some weight 4 cotton yarn for embroidery, you can make your own pillow or purse version of hello kitty (and make everyone around you so very jealous).

Pillow:

Finished circumference: 27in

Height: 13in

Purse:

Finished circumference: 24in

Height: 9in

Necessary materials:
For the pillow:
-one white skein of weight 6 Bernat Blanket yarn
-one pink skein of weight 6 Bernat Blanket yarn for the bow
-one skein of cotton weight 4 yellow yarn (any brand but I’d recommend lily’s sugar and cream)
-one skein of cotton weight 4 black yarn (any brand but I’d recommend lily’s sugar and cream)
-9mm hook
-4.5mm hook

For the purse:
-two skeins of white Bernat Softee Chunky yarn (or a similar weight 6 yarn)
-one skein of pink Lion Brand Thick and Quick weight 6 yarn (or a similar weight 6 yarn) for the bow and strap
-same yarn requirements as the pillow for the rest of the details
-10mm hook
-4.5mm hook
* you can still use blanket yarn for the purse, but it would be much larger

Other:
-Stitch markers
-darning needles
-~ 6 oz. stuffing for the pillow
-safety eyes/nose in place of crocheting them (can be found on amazon)
