Here you can find a graph and written instructions for each side of this tapestry crochet bag. It’s suitable for confident and advanced beginners who would like to get into color work. The bag is roughly 13x13 inches, making it about the size of a smaller tote bag.
The pattern is written in US terms.
Materials:
Main color: 2 skeins of Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn (or any similar weight 4 yarn)
Text/Face color: 1 skein of Loops and Threads Impeccable yarn (or any similar weight 4 yarn)
5mm hook (you can size down to 4.5mm-4mm to meet your tension)
Note: You can also use a thinner chunky/bulky weight yarn (such as Big Twist Classic) and a 6mm hook for a larger bag :)
A darning needle is also needed to sew on the straps, but you can also crochet the straps directly onto the bag.
Note: some of the squares on the IOTC graph may look slightly off, but fill the correct spaces they need to be in (i had to manually fill them in). They correspond to the same color changes outlined in the written instructions in case there’s any confusion.
