Introducing the Ignis Beanie! Such a fabulously addictive pattern and an opportunity to really play with colour combinations! It has a simple and memorable pattern repeat with videos to show you every round. Inspired by my all time favourite autumn past time…sitting in front of a real fire with my knitting!

The pattern offers a choice of five different yarn weights. It is knitted in the round from the bottom up using the mosaic knitting technique; therefore, only one colour is used per round. The pattern repeat is a multiple of four stitches over six rounds. Size can be adjusted accordingly if desired.

Gauge ~
Gauge is given in pattern and knitted in the round using the recommended needle size for each yarn weight. Measurements should be taken unstretched and unblocked.

Aran/Worsted ~ 20 sts and 38 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 11
Light Chunky ~ 18 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 10
Chunky ~ 16 sts and 28 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 8
Light Super Chunky ~ 12 sts and 24 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 7
Super Chunky ~ 10 sts and 18 rnds = 10 cm x 10 cm/4” x 4”. WPI - 6
