> The Juniper Top

The Juniper Top
The Juniper Top is a beautifully romantic design that combines simple elegance with feminine lace. It comes with two sets of straps - the decorative, ruffled lace sleeves and the delicate straps that lend extra support and create a corset closure in the back. Small details, such as the pretty edging along the bottom and the eyelets in the back, make this piece interesting and unique. The Juniper Top reminds me of vintage lace and spring days - a cottagecore fantasy..
Since I advocate size diversity and only sell made-to-measure items, I have written this pattern as a follow along tutorial without sizing. Making the Juniper Top is a great custom crochet piece for makers who want to explore more intricate projects. Step-by-step photos as well as optional changes are given throughout the pattern.

This pattern can be made with any yarn weight, hook, and to fit any size. I will mention where and how to adjust the top to your preference
-
You should be able to measure yourself correctly, make basic calculations using a calculator, and be familiar with crochet lace (pattern repeats, lace diagram etc.), or be up for a challenge.
-
I am left-handed, so the pictures and instructions in this document are left-handed. I state right-handed pattern notes in parentheses wherever extra clarification could be helpful.
-
Since this is a made-to-measure pattern, I strongly encourage you to try on the top in the process!
