The Kex Vest is a cabled colourwork vest that has a straight fit and a cozy look to it. It is worked from the top down in basket weave cables and faire isle colourwork. First the back of the yoke is worked flat, then the shoulders are worked flat and united to work the front of the yoke flat, and then the back and front is united to work the body in the round. The ribbing for the neck and armholes is worked after the body is finished by picking up stitches and working 1 x 1 rib.
