THE KNITONOMY GRAYLING HAT

The Grayling Hat is a top down knit.

Because of the cable repeats, the measurements grow rapidly between sizes. The pattern is written for one size. However, there are two gauge options: size 1 and size 2 to offer two finished sizes. They both follow the same instructions but the final measurements are different.

in the cable pattern after washing and blocking
size 1: 31 st. x 38 r.= 10x10 cm
size 2: 27 st. x 34 r.= 10x10 cm

NEEDLES
size 1:
4 mm 80 cm & 40 cm circular needles
3 mm 40 cm circular needles
size 2:
4.5 mm 80 cm & 40 cm circular needles
3.5 mm 40 cm circular needles
a cable needle
a tapestry needle
