Garment description:

The Lieblingstank is a cropped tank top designed to be fitted to your body. It is worked bottom-up: a wide ribbing band accentuates your waist & the body is then done in colorful stripes of various thickness. The rounded neck and armholes are then finished with applied i-cords. All this mixed with some subtle texture make it a fun statement piece in your closet. It is perfect to be worn on its own on a hot summer day (especially if knitted with cotton) or to be layered as a vest during colder months (especially if knitted with acrylic or wool)!

Sizing:

This tank pattern has been written and tested for 6 sizes. Measure yourself at the widest part of your bust and choose your size accordingly. If you are between sizes, please choose whatever size you are closer to. When in doubt, size up!

A - 71-76 cm (28-30 in)
B - 81-86 cm (32-34 in)
C - 92-97 cm (36-38 in)
D - 102-107 cm (40-42 in)
E - 112-117 cm (44-46 in)
F - 122-127 cm (48-50 in)

The garment has approx. 10 cm (4 in) of negative ease.

Three additional sizes (G-I, 132-158cm/52-62in) were written but not tested. If you would like to knit these sizes, please reach out to me.

Gauge:

10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) square = 17 sts x 24 rows in stockinette in the round with 4.5mm (US 7) needles (after being blocked)

Suggested Needles:

3.5mm (US 4) & 4.5mm (US 7) circular knitting needles with a 60/80 cm (24/32 in) cord (cord length will depend on bust circumference)

• Crochet hook or dpns in similar size (optional)

This pattern was written to be worked with yarn scraps. The following are estimates of the total yarn length needed by size.
