The Louna Beanie is a fun and squishy design combining seed stitch and a 9 stitch cable section, suitable for intermediate knitters, and knit with bulky weight (weight category #5) yarn. In this free pattern you’ll find full written instructions on how to knit the beanie from start to finish. Thanks to the simple brim, this beanie knits up in no time and is definitely an instant gratification project!

Materials needed:

  • 6mm/US 10 circular needles (Ø 40cm/16”) OR any needles to obtain the gauge
  • Approximately 83 m/91 yards of light bulky weight (#5) yarn
  • Gauge: 10x10cm / 4x4” of stockinette stitch with 6mm/US 10 needles: 14 stitches, 18 rows
  • Cable needle or extra DPN
  • 6mm / US 10 DPNs for decreasing
