About The Design

Imagine your weekly visit to the market, a long winter walk with the dog or just a really cold day in spring. These socks will keep your feet warm at all times. The combination of a thin merino yarn is already quiet warm but did you know that Chiengora® (dog wool) is up to 80% warmer than sheep’s wool? Following the socks functionality, the warmer yarn is applied to the part below the feet only.

Form follows function.

Construction

We start with the seam rib and work our way down to the heel. The flap heel is worked with both yarns forth & back. When we start working our way to the toes you will learn how to knit our „Modus Masche“ which enables you to work seamless.
