This scarf looks lovely however you wear it. With the reversible rib cable, both the right and wrong sides of the scarf have their own unique and stunning style. The cables and raspberry stitch really give this scarf a lovely structured look that will have everyone asking, where did you get that scarf!?

I used Lion Brand Yarns Touch of Alpaca for this design because I just love how soft it is and the drape of finished garments when you use it. But, you can make this scarf with just about any type of yarn from DK to bulky.

For the size scarf I made (64in x 10in), you need one 415yrd Bonus Bundle and one skein of the regular 207 yrd size, OR 3 skeins of the regular size. The gauge 18st/20rows = 4” in stockinette is how I knit, but everyone knits with a different tension, so whatever yarn you decide to use, make sure you swatch so you can get the size scarf you’re going for.

Some yarns that I suggest to substitute are Knit Picks Mighty Stitch or Brava Worsted, they have the closest match on gauge and I like the softness and drape. You could also use Caron Jumbo or Paint Box Yarns Simply Aran, both are close matches, but you might want to use smaller needles to achieve the same gauge.

As always HAPPY KNITTING!
