“The Moody Hoody Dress” is a fun knitting project. Knitted in a Boucle yarn, using basic stitches, this oversized dress is knitted from the top of the hood down. The hem is made of colourful square motifs, which are knitted separately, joined together and then stitched to the bottom of the dress.
The knitting pattern is easy to follow, you begin by working the hood back and forth in rows before joining in the round later on.

• 8x 50g balls (1120m or 1224yds) using Drops Alpaca Boucle 7402 colour.
• 1x50g ball (140m or 153yds) using Drops Alpaca Boucle 5110 colour.
• 1x50g ball (140m or 153yds) using Drops Alpaca Boucle 0100 colour.
• 1x50g ball (140m or 153yds) using Drops Alpaca Boucle 3125 colour.
NB If you substitute another yarn, please check tension and yardage.
• 1 Circular needle 5.50mm x length 60cm (US 9).
• 1 Circular needle 5.50mm x length 80 cm (US 9).
• 4 DPN 5.50mm (US 9).
• 1 Tapestry needle.

Dress length (from top of the shoulders) - 97cm (38ins). Dress flat width (just below armhole) - 69cm (27ins). Sleeve length (from top of shoulders) - 54cm (21ins). Sleeve flat width (just below armhole) - 28cm (11ins).
