This pattern is also part of an e-book that includes all of my cowl designs at a reduced price! Each cowl in the e-book is unique from the rest, so it provides a great variety of styles to choose from and play with!

This cowl was a special request from my grandma who taught me how to knit, so I had to make sure it was special! This cowl features a lace pattern and seed stitch on both edges. It is long enough to wrap around the wearer’s neck twice, and one of the wraps could be used as a hood. If you live in a warmer climate, or want a lighter weight cowl, you could make this cowl shorter so that it only wraps around the wearer’s neck once. Since we live where winters can be harsh, I used 250 g of worsted weigt yarn in a washable, 100% merino wool, but this pattern would do nicely with a wool blend too, or your fiber of choice based on your needs.

With this pattern you will receive detailed directions, links to video tutorials for certain techniques used, and beginner, intermediate and advanced options so you can choose the techniques with which you are most comfortable. The seamless design gives this cowl store bought quality that even beginner knitters with some experience and courage will be able to achieve! This pattern would be a PERFECT choice for your first cowl, or for the beginner/intermediate knitter who is looking to expand his or her knitting skills.

As always, I am available and committed to promptly responding to your questions and requests regarding this or any other of my patterns. Happy knitting!
