About The Nordic Handbag:
The Nordic Handbag is a felted bag with a buckle detail on the
shoulder strap.
First, the base is worked back and forth in stockinette
stitch. Then stitches are picked up along the edges all
around the base, and the sides are shaped with decreases.
Finally, the shoulder strap is worked from one of the short
sides using double knitting, and on the other short side, a fastening for the buckle is knitted. The bag is then felted and the buckle is attached.

Sizes: onesize

Yarn and yarn quantity:

• 350 g Drops Snow by Drops Design (50 g = 50 m)

Suggested needles:

• Circular needles 8 mm, 80 cm
• Crochet hook 7 mm

Gauge:

• Before felting: 11 sts x 15 rows = 10x10 cm.
• After felting: 13 sts x 22 rows = 10x10 cm.

Measurements:

• Width: 30 cm
• Depth: 8 cm
• Height: 23 cm
• Shoulder strap: 80 cm (but adjustable with the buckle)
