Ophelia is an advanced beginner, made to measure, crochet pattern. This pattern will take you through the step by step process of how to create Ophelia with photos! Inspired by 90s whimsigothic fashion, ophelia is perfect top for all seasons and for incorporating stylistic individuality and creativity.

The pattern is made to measure and has been tested by a team of crochet artists! You can see their examples in the patterns look book for creative inspiration.

Yardage estimates for the body portion:

Yardages are based on tester estimations as well as making the top without modifications. Yardage may slightly vary as all bodies are different! For this pattern, you can use any Fingering or Dk weight yarn, just ensure the hooks you are using match with the instructions in the pattern! It is suggested to use a merino yarn, if subbing, it is recommended to use another lightweight fiber such as alpaca or silk rather than a heavy cotton!

If using Fingering/sock: XS (550) S (625) M (700) L (750) XL (850) XXL (925) 1X (1,050) 2X (1,150) 3X (1,300) 4X (1,450)
If using Dk/Sport: XS (425) S (475) M (550) L (625) XL (700) XXL (800) 1X (900) 2X (1,000) 3X (1,150) 4X (1,300)

You will need:
Fingering or DK, and Worsted weight yarn
2.75, 3, 3.5, and 3.75mm hooks (3.75 and 3.5 for Dk/Sport only)
Scissors, a Measuring tape, a yarn needle and stitch markers!
