The Pawp Tart is a five colored unponcho knit from the top down. There is a video with directions on how to do the Spike Stitches (hot pink sts to the left) and basically, you will get a nice and cosy accessory to wear during this v. cold winter if you make it.

Feel free to knit this during Effuary (or in the Sweary Thread) in the Casapinka group here! It takes the same type of yarn as the Effuary Cowl.

If you have a bust 32-48” consider making Size 1, and 49-64” consider making Size 2.

Casapinka (pink/ white at left) has a 38” bust and is wearing Size 1.
Fran (gold/gray at left) has a 47” bust and is also wearing a Size 1.

Finished Size (blocked)
Neck circumference: 21.25”/54 cm
Note: opens wider due to neck slit
Bottom circumference: 65 (81)”/165 (206) cm
Length: 17 (19)”/43 (48) cm

NOTE!!! If your LYS carries Emma’s call them and they can order a kit and have it drop shipped and they will get credit for selling it!

Budget Yarn alternatives include: Berroco Vintage Chunky, Cascade Pacific Chunky, and Plymouth Yarn Encore Chunky. Note that if the alternative yarn has 100 yards per skein you will still have enough yarn to complete the project.
