The Penny Lane coat is a made to measure coat pattern using bulky (or option for worsted or super bulky) yarn with an edged trim of eyelash yarn. The recommended yarn for this pattern is Hobbii fluffy day XL, however this can be subbed with any yarn that meets gauge. For a more lightweight coat, sub worsted yarn and slightly increase yardage, and for a heavier coat, use super bulky and slightly decrease necessary yardage.

This pattern has 2 options: Solid and Patchwork. If you are making the coat in patchwork, take the amount of yarn recommended and divide it by 4!

Recommended yardage (when using recommended yarn):

XS: ~950-1,100 yds (+ 250 eyelash)
SM: ~1,150-1,200 yds ( +250 eyelash)
M: ~1,300-1,400 yds ( + 275 eyelash)
L: ~ 1,500-1,600yds (+ 275 eyelash)
XL: ~1,650-1,800 yds ( +300 eyelash)
XXL: ~1,900-2,000 yds (+ 350 eyelash)
2X: ~2,100-2,200 yds (+ 375 eyelash)
3X: ~2,300-2,400 yds ( +400 eyelash)
4X: ~2,400-2,500 yds (+425 eyelash)

Gauge (Double Crochet): 10 st x 5 rows = 4x4 square (in)
Gauge does not have to be met perfectly in order to complete the pattern, but it is recommended to swatch to determine if you would like to size your hook up or down

In addition to yarn, you will need: 5+6mm hooks, measuring tape, scissors
